IT IS GOOD TO RECEIVE BUT THE INCREASE IS FOR GIVERS

‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (Acts 20:35)

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” (Luke 6:38)

In Luke 6:38, Jesus states that ‘giving’ brings an increase.

It is good to receive. I believe that we should all receive things from time to time.

However, though we can receive stuff (material or immaterial), the increase comes to the one who gives.

The Bible does not say: “receive and you will receive more.”

And again, I want to reiterate this: “there is nothing wrong with receiving.”

By refusing to give, a person fails to position himself/herself as a candidate for increase.

It’s good to receive but the increase is for the givers.
